Change is Here . . .
Dozens of statistics show how beleaguered the African-American demographic remains despite considerable gains and achievements over the past fifty years. It is time for a national movement to transform the African-American demographic by addressing all of the problems at once, from police brutality to financial illiteracy, from the education gap to HIV infection rates. But that won't happen without a plan, a target date at which to aim, and serious commitment across the nation. Papillon 2030 (inspired, in part, by the UN's Millennium Development Goals and 17-part Sustainable Development Goals) has a plan, a target date (2030), and we are seeking commitment from all African-Americans and supporters to, in one massive push, change the data about our demographic.
